BREEDER OF 2025 WESTMINSTER KENNEL CLUB WINNERS
Selectively breeding to produce the exceptional American Hairless Terrier

BREEDER OF 2025 WESTMINSTER KENNEL CLUB WINNERS
At Cas' Kennels, we are dedicated to responsible breeding practices that prioritize the health and well-being of our dogs. With a minimal breeding program, we have produced top-winning dogs.
We are proud to have bred multiple AKC Grand Champion American Hairless Terriers, including 2025 Best of Breed winner, Select Dog and Award of Merit at the largest Westminster American Hairless Terrier entry in history. With our minimal breeding program, we have produced Grand Champion and group placing Chihuahuas, and more importantly, well-adjusted family pets. Our puppies are not raised in a kennel environment but in our home.

Because we feel every dog deserves to have their own family, we occasionally place our dogs in guardianship homes so they get the best possible care while still helping contribute to the betterment of the breed in the show ring and occasional breeding program. We love all of our dogs but realize they deserve forever homes where they can have less competition for attention and more 1-1 time with their person ( or people)
Co-ownership homes give you more ownership of the dog from the beginning. In a co-ownership, you own the dog with us. It is very similar to the guardianship home, except that you may be more involved in the program. You would have the option of enjoying dog shows and showing the dog yourself or we can still do it for you. As the co-owner, you would be a co-breeder on any litters produced by females and compensated if puppies were produced. For co-owners of males, you would receive compensation if he were to be used to sire a litter.
Guardianship homes have no actual ownership of the dog (on paper) and receive no compensation if used in a breeding program. Once the dog is no longer in the breeding or show program, the dog spay or neutered is transferred to the guardianship home completely.
Your job is easy. Provide a permanent, safe and loving home. This would include routine vet care, and socialization of your new family member. Basic obedience class is recommended to help ensure you have the ideal lifetime companion. There may be occasions where the dog comes back to us briefly for a dog show or breeding but then returns home to you.
This varies. For young dogs who have not begun their show career, maybe 1-2 weekends a month until they earn their championship titles, possibly a bit more if they need show training. This may happen in just a few shows or may take longer. For dogs involved in the breeding program, the females may need to stay for the duration of delivering and nurturing puppies unless arrangements have been made where this is done in the guardianship or co-owner home. KEEP IN MIND, we breed very selectively and may never breed placed dogs.
Ideally, you have some experience with dogs and do not have, or plan to have, more than 2-3 total dogs. Hairless terriers enjoy activities, so be ready to spend time with your pup. Any training experience is a plus. We are located in Scott Depot, WV, so proximity is a priority, as you would be responsible for getting the dog to us for possible show or breeding purposes.
Guardianship homes sometimes require a small deposit of $200 upfront which is fully refundable once the dog has been retired from the program and lives their forever life with you.
Co-ownership is a bit different, as you are a part-owner of the dog from the beginning. This fee varies, but you can contact us for information. It will always be much less than the full price of a well-bred dog. You would also be considered the co-breeder of any litters produced by females and would be compensated if the dog were bred. Remember, not all dogs will be bred so there is no guarantee of compensation.
We are very selective as to our homes. If you would like to be considered, contact us via email at susan@msebwv.com or call/text 304-419-1060. We will get you an application and take it from there.
Our babies are adopted quickly, so it is recommended you contact us soon. There is a screening process and typically a waiting list.
